Admission Requirements For foreign students
Foreign Students Categories Admission Requirement Length of Schooling<
Students for Short-term Chinese training course at least finish high school studying; 2-12 weeks
Students for general advanced studies at least finish high school studying; be in good health. 1-2 years
in winter vacation & summer vacation be in good health; not younger than 16 years old
Undergraduate students at least finish high school studying; be in good health; pass HSK Band 3 4 years
Master course students having been awarded bachelor degree; be in good health; pass HSK Band 6 2-3 years
Doctor course students having been awarded master degree; be in good health; pass HSK Band 6 3 years

Note: undergraduate students
1. must reach a C level in Chinese Proficiency Test for foreigners.
2. high school graduates have to take some entrance tests for relevant courses.

Semester:
For Students for advanced studies of Chinese, undergraduate students, master course students. and doctor course students:
The first semester: from the beginning of September to next late January
The second semester: from the end of February to early July

Admission application, Visa granting and entering China:

Students need to apply to International Exchange Office for an Admission Application Form, then carefully fill in it and send it back to the Office. The Office will send to the applicant an Admission Notice and a JW202 Form. The applicant has to carry the two documents to take a physical examination and get an X Visa (Studying Visa) at the Chinese embassy (consulate) in the country the student lives in, and then must enter China and register with the university within the fixed time limit.
